Thermal Printer Servicing

Like all hardware, printers require regular maintenance and care. We can help prevent downtime and lost production by identifying and rectifying faults and issues before they occur. Our preventative maintenance service inspections are similar to a car service and MOT. We will check for known faults and weak points that can occur over time, along with issues created by general wear and tear.

Our expert engineers will come onsite to inspect and review your printers, including a full internal clean of all core components. If we find any issues we may be able to fix it there and then, or book a follow up visit to quickly repair the printer before it causes any downtime and loss of income for your business.

2 - Servicing the Printers

When one of our engineers arrive, they will run through any essential information and Health and Safety processes. As part of this, they may also discuss your setup, requirements and how your printing process works.

Following this, the engineer will carry out the inspection on your printer(s), including:

  • Mechanical parts, such as drive belts and sensors
  • Consumable parts, such as print heads and platen rollers
  • Cleaning and calibration
  • Print quality and overall printer integrity

After the service, we will suggest recommendations on how to further improve your process and extend printer life. A full service report will be provided.
